Charlotte Checkers 1950s Night
Throwback 1950s pricing on tickets and select concessions will be available for Rolle Back Night presented by Rolle Oral & Facial Surgery on Tuesday, Jan. 15.

The game against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers starts at 7 p.m. Tickets were available in the original 1950s pricing of $1 and $2.

Discounted concessions include:
  • $1 hot dogs
  • 50 cent 16 oz. sodas
  • 50 cent small popcorn
At the Red Line Club restaurant, a 50s style meal consisting of a fried bologna sandwich with American cheese on white bread served with tater tots, a pickle spear and a mini chocoloate Moon Pie for desert will be available for just $5.

The theme of the night is to celebrate the first days of professional hockey in Charlotte. The Charlotte Clippers, who later became the Checkers, began play at the coliseum in 1956. Visit our history page to learn more!
