The Checkers have traded Anthony Louis to the Texas Stars for future considerations.
A sixth-round pick by Chicago in 2013, Louis signed an AHL deal with Charlotte over the summer. The 24-year-old forward recorded one goal in eight games with the Checkers this season and has been a healthy extra in six of the last 10 games, including each of the last two.
With the addition of Kerby Rychel on an AHL contract earlier this week, the Checkers now have 14 healthy options at forward, including the PTO-signed Casey Bailey.
