Forwards Andrew Poturalski and Morgan Geekie, defenseman Dan Renouf and goaltender Callum Booth will all join the Checkers as they continue their training camp at Bojangles’ Coliseum Wednesday morning.

Poturalski is returning to Charlotte after posting a career-high 22-goal campaign a season ago, while Booth, who made four appearances in net for the Checkers last season, spent the majority of his rookie campaign in the ECHL with the Florida Everblades and logged a 19-6-2 record.

Geekie, a third-round pick in 2017, is preparing to kick off his pro career while Renouf, heading into his third season as a pro, was acquired by Carolina over the summer.

With the addition of these most recent cuts, the Checkers will have 25 players on their roster heading into Wednesday’s skate.
