Signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Carolina on 4/4/16.

2016-17

Split his rookie season between the Checkers and the ECHL’s Florida Everblades … Made his professional debut on opening night at TEX (10/14) … Recorded his first professional goal/point at IA (11/11) … Marked his first professional assist at ONT (12/10) … Posted an assist and a season-best, plus-2 rating in a 3-2 overtime win at MB (12/30) … Assigned to ECHL Florida for the first time this season on 1/6 and posted an assist in his Everblades debut that night … Recalled from Florida on 2/18 after scoring eight points in 15 games with the Everblades … Recalled from Florida on 2/18 and reassigned on 2/21 after appearing in two games with the Checkers … In his first game back with the Everblades on 2/22, extended his assist/point streak to six games (6a) and fired a season-high eight shots on goal … Recalled to Charlotte on 3/7 … Assisted on Bryan Bickell’s first goal as a Checker, giving him points in consecutive games for the first time in his career (2a), vs. CLE (3/25).
