The AHL today announced suspensions for Charlotte forward Warren Foegele and defenseman Josiah Didier.
Foegele was issued a one-game suspension as the result of a boarding incident in Saturday’s win over the Binghamton Devils. This marks the first pro suspension for the league’s rookie goal leader, who will miss Friday’s road contest in Laval.
Didier has been suspended for three games as the result of an interference incident in Sunday’s loss to Binghamton. This is the second suspension this season for the blue liner, who sat out Saturday’s game due to an elbowing incident from the previous game. Didier will miss the team’s two-game set in Laval this weekend as well as Charlotte’s visit to Rochester next Friday.
