The second-year pro made his NHL debut with the Panthers this season and has appeared in three games for Florida thus far. As a rookie with the Checkers last season, Sourdif put up 24 points (7g, 17a) in 48 games.

The Checkers have one more stop on their current road trip - a Wednesday night tilt in Rochester - before returning home this weekend for a series against Bridgeport.
