Chris Terry Charlotte Checkers
With his expected five-game conditioning stint now concluded, forward Chris Terry has returned to the NHL.

Terry, the Checkers’ all-time leader in games played (299), goals (104), assists (150) and points (254), recorded a goal and an assist in his brief stay in Charlotte that began Nov. 26 and ended with Saturday’s 2-1 win over the Iowa Wild. Over the course of his stay, the Checkers posted a 3-1-1 record, marking their most successful five-game stretch of the season.

Terry now returns to the Carolina Hurricanes, where he has posted seven points (4g, 3a) in 17 games this season.

With coach Jeff Daniels saying Saturday that he expects rookie Patrick Brown to return from injury, the Checkers will still have an extra forward available for Monday’s rematch against Iowa. Professional tryout signing Andrew Rowe sat out Saturday’s win as a healthy extra.
