Two days after being assigned to Charlotte, Patrick Brown has been recalled back to Carolina.
The rookie center had an impressive preseason, and surprised many by surviving multiple cuts before being sent down to Charlotte on Saturday. Now, with Hurricanes star forward Jeff Skinner being diagnosed with a concussion, Brown is headed back to Raleigh to help fill that void.
Brown, a two-time NCAA National Champion with Boston College, will join the team for Tuesday morning's practice at PNC Arena.
