The Florida Panthers announced today the team has loaned goaltender Tyler Muszelik to the ECHL's Savannah Ghost Pirates from the Checkers.
Muszelik, 22, has appeared in one game with the Checkers this season, making 20 saves in a 3-2 loss against the Hershey Bears on Sunday afternoon.
The Long Valley, NJ, native played four seasons collegiately, splitting time between the University of New Hampshire and the University of Connecticut. Muszelik signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Panthers on March 30, 2026, and initially joined the Checkers on an amateur tryout (ATO) in April.
He was selected in the sixth round (189th overall) by the Panthers at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft.
