The Florida Panthers announced today the team has loaned goaltender Tyler Muszelik to the Checkers from the Savannah Ghost Pirates.

Muszelik, 22, made 20 saves in his AHL debut with the Checkers on October 11 in Hershey against the Bears.

The Long Valley, NJ, native logged 31 minutes in Savannah’s 7-4 preseason win over the Jacksonville Icemen on October 9, making 10 saves on 12 shots to secure the victory.

Muszelik played four seasons collegiately, splitting time between the University of New Hampshire and the University of Connecticut. Muszelik signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Panthers on March 30, 2026, and initially joined the Checkers on an amateur tryout (ATO) in April.
