The Florida Panthers have announced their 2026-27 Training Camp roster, with the camp scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 17.
Florida’s roster consists of 30 forwards, 16 defensemen and 5 goaltenders. You can find the full roster here. The roster currently consists of a majority of Florida’s NHL contracts, along with several of the organization’s AHL contracts.
Forwards Bokondji Imama, Sam Lafferty, John Beecher, Angus Crookshank, and defensemen Alexander Petrovic and Emil Pieniniemi headline the new additions to Florida’s camp who boast prior American Hockey League experience.
Robert Mastrosimone, Nate Smith, Riese Gaber and Liam McLinskey have been named to the camp roster after spending most of the 2025-26 season with the Checkers; all four are on AHL contracts for the upcoming 2026-27 campaign.
Forwards William Bitten and Karsen Dorwart signed AHL contracts with the Checkers this offseason as free agents and are also attending Florida’s camp.
Forward Nathan Bastian is listed on the roster as Florida’s lone professional tryout (PTO). Bastian, 28, played 36 games last season with the NHL’s Dallas Stars, logging seven points (six goals, one assist), while also suiting up four times with the Texas Stars.
The Panthers will open their four-game preseason slate on Sunday, September 20, against the Carolina Hurricanes at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida. Charlotte's training camp is scheduled to begin later this month.
