Panthers Assign 29 Players to Checkers

The Florida Panthers have trimmed their training camp roster, sending 29 players to Charlotte.

Charlotte’s 2026-27 training camp is presented by Courtyard Marriott Charlotte City Center. The following players have been assigned to the Checkers:

Forwards: Will Bitten, Jack Devine, Karsen Dorwart, Riese Gaber, Robert Mastrosimone, Liam McLinskey, Samu Salminen, Gracyn Sawchyn, Nate Smith, Hunter St. Martin

Defensemen: Marek Alscher, Mikulas Hovorka, Ludvig Jansson, Emil Pieniniemi, Matvei Shuravin

Goaltenders: Cooper Black, Kirill Gerasimyuk, Tyler Muszelik

Additionally, forwards Nathan Bastian, John Beecher, Angus Crookshank, Sam Lafferty, Cole Reinhardt, Cole Schwindt, Kai Schwindt and defensemen Tobias Bjornfot, Casey Fitzgerald, Alexander Petrovic and Dominic Sebrango have cleared NHL waivers and been assigned to Charlotte.
