As previously announced, the schedule contains an exhibition game against the Norfolk Admirals at Extreme Ice Center on Friday, Oct. 3, at 11:30 a.m. Admission for the event, which includes a silent auction to benefit the Checkers Charitable Foundation, is free to the public. Following the game, the teams will depart to complete their exhibition schedules with a rematch at Norfolk Scope Arena at 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 4.
The Checkers begin their regular season in Milwaukee on Friday, Oct. 10 – the first of a three-in-three weekend that will also take them through Chicago for games on Oct. 11 and 12. Opening Weekend at Time Warner Cable Arena, presented by Wells Fargo, begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17, with the first of back-to-back games against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
