The Charlotte Checkers today assigned Cedric Lacroix to the ECHL’s Greenville Swamp Rabbits.
The forward has appeared in nine games for the Checkers this season and has amassed 34 penalty minutes. But with Charlotte regaining several players back from injury over the last week, Lacroix has been a healthy extra in each of the team’s last two games.
Lacroix, who is on an AHL contract with Charlotte, now returns to Greenville where he has nine points (5g, 4a) in 12 games this season.
The Checkers return to action with a two-game set in Providence starting on Saturday.
