The Checkers couldn’t get back on track Tuesday night, surrendering five goals in the third period to once again sputter late en route to a tough defeat.
The third period was the difference once again in Charlotte’s rematch with Hershey, with the Checkers dropping a 4-2 contest Saturday night in front of a packed house.
