There have been 120 players that have come through Charlotte and donned a Checkers sweater. For the next few weeks, we’re going to take a look at former Checkers players and see where their careers have taken them since their stint in Charlotte.
The Checkers have added some depth to their roster with the addition of four players on AHL contracts. Defenseman Jake Chelios inked a one-way AHL deal, while goalie Anthony Peters, defenseman Justin Agosta and forward Matt Willows all signed two-way AHL contracts.

Another member of last year's Checkers team has been brought back into the fold, with center Brody Sutter re-signing with the Hurricanes on a one-year, two-way contract.
