Assistant Coach, Goaltending
Leo Luongo was hired as the Florida Panthers AHL Goaltending Coach on June 28, 2016.Luongo has spent the last four seasons with the Panthers’ affiliate and is a part of Florida’s recently formed Goaltending Excellence Department.
Prior to joining the Panthers, the Quebec native served as the goaltending coach for the QMJHL’s Acadie-Bathurst from 2008 to 2013, a goaltending consultant with the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch in 2012-13 and the goaltending coach for Switzerland’s HC Lugano from 2013 to 2016.
