Scott Darling’s conditioning stint is over as the Hurricanes have recalled the netminder from Charlotte.
In his first game action since suffering an injury in the preseason, Darling stopped 25 of the 26 shots he was faced with Wednesday night in Utica and picked up the win in his first AHL game since 2015.
The Hurricanes return to action Friday with a home contest against the Sharks.
