After a brief stint in the NHL, the Hurricanes have returned forward Lucas Wallmark to Charlotte.
The forward appeared in last night’s loss to New Jersey, his fifth career NHL contest, and registered two shots on goal. Wallmark now heads back to the Checkers, where he ranks fourth on the team with 36 points in 34 AHL games this season.
The Checkers return to action Friday in Springfield to kick off a three-games-in-three-days weekend, while the Hurricanes are off until hosting Pittsburgh on Friday.
