The Checkers will travel to Raleigh's PNC Arena, home of the Carolina Hurricanes, to play a pair of games against the Abbotsford Heat on Saturday, Feb. 15, at 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 16, at 4 p.m. Tickets for both games start at just $15.
The Checkers’ most successful stretch of the season continued last week, with the team knocking on the door of playoff position as it embarks on a five-game road swing.
With the addition of Ryan Murphy from Carolina giving them eight defensemen, the Checkers responded by sending Beau Schmitz to the ECHL’s Florida Everblades on Saturday.
