President
Lynch, the Checkers' longest-tenured employee, earned the title of President in June of 2025. In this role, he oversees the team's day-to-day operations, including leadership of ticket sales, corporate partnerships and marketing efforts.Lynch’s journey with the Checkers began in 2003 as a game-day operations intern. He joined the staff full-time in 2004 as a Ticket Account Manager and steadily rose through the ranks, serving as Director of Ticket Services, Vice President of Ticket Sales, and then Senior Vice President in 2013.
Throughout his tenure, Lynch has played a central role in many of the franchise’s most defining moments: the team’s transition from the ECHL to the AHL, the move from Bojangles Coliseum to Spectrum Center and then back again, the capturing of a Calder Cup championship, changes in NHL affiliations and ownership, and navigating the COVID-19 pandemic. He also led efforts behind Charlotte’s first professional outdoor hockey game - the Queen City Outdoor Classic - and helped drive record-breaking revenue across all categories during the 2024–25 season.
