Alex Nedeljkovic and Jake Bean came up big in the 2020 AHL All-Star Challenge, helping lead the Atlantic Division squad to a title at the round-robin, 3-on-3 tournament.
Bean recorded three assists across the four games, including a pair in the Atlantic’s win over the Central Division in the championship game. Nedeljkovic made 20 stops during his time between the pipes, tied for the most by an netminder during the tournament.
The duo will now enjoy a quick break before the Checkers reconvene and travel to Toronto for a matchup on Friday.
