The Charlotte Checkers are hiring ice crew members for the 2021-22 season!
At all 36 home games, members of our ice crew will clean designated areas of the ice with shovels during promotional stoppages that take place during each period.
We’re looking for those who:
- Are excellent ice skaters
- Are willing to work many home games during the 2021-22 season (dates and times TBD)
- Have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team environment
The Checkers will provide a per-game stipend, two tickets to each game worked to share with friends or family members, a pregame meal, team apparel to be worn as a uniform on game nights and a staff discount for additional tickets and merchandise. Ice crew members must bring their own skates. Additional game ops duties (chuck-a-puck cleanup, etc.) may be required.
