Though it looked like the Checkers would return from the All-Star break with two consecutive losses in Raleigh to extend their winless streak to six games, a big comeback on Sunday will give them some momentum moving forward.
Due to a decision made late this afternoon by the Abbotsford Heat to institute a game time change within their constitutional rights, Sunday’s start time has been delayed from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Due to hazardous weather and travel delays in North Carolina, Friday’s 7:30 p.m. game between the Charlotte Checkers and Abbotsford Heat at PNC Arena in Raleigh has been postponed until Saturday, Feb. 15, at 5 p.m.
