Registrations are open or will be opening soon for multiple youth hockey programs that will be held at Bojangles Coliseum this fall.
Families can sign up now for the popular First Goal Program, which offers six on-ice sessions and a full set of equipment to keep for just $250 total. The First Goal program is open to new, first-time hockey participants (boys and girls) aged 5-10. Previous skating experience is recommended but not required.
Exact dates and times for the September/October First Goal sessions at Bojangles Coilseum are still to be determined, but interested parties are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible once registration opens as limited spaces are expected to fill quickly. Online registration can be found here.
Also coming this fall are the return of the Jr. Checkers Mite program for U8 boys and girls (2013-16 birth years), as well as a new Jr. Checkers rec league for boys and girls born between 2007-12. Previous playing or skating experience through another program (such as First Goal) is required. Registration for these programs will take place in June.
