For the first time ever, the Checkers will hold a live auction of autographed and game-worn red, white and black jerseys.
The auction will take place immediately following the game against the Texas Stars this Saturday, April 2. Though the team will be wearing white for the game, fans who bid on a particular player will have the option to win that player’s jersey in their choice of white, red or black. Checkers players will be on hand to meet and pose for photos with the winners.
Fans who win a particular player’s jersey will have the right of first refusal for purchasing that player’s other jerseys at a fixed price of $250 each.
Following the auction, the Checkers will make arrangements for all winners to receive their signed jerseys at a later date once the team’s season has concluded.
