The Charlotte Checkers will be hosting their first-ever “What if? Night,” presented by The Independence Fund, on Saturday, Feb. 22.

Jesse Puljujarvi hit the ice at Bojangles Coliseum Thursday morning, marking his first practice with the team and a fresh start for the forward.

It’s been an up-and-down month for the Checkers.

The Checkers added another piece to their forward group today, signing Jesse Puljujarvi to a professional tryout.
