The AHL has recognized Checkers goalie John Muse for his excellent play of late by awarding him its Player of the Week award for the period ending March 30.
Defenseman Ryan Murphy, who put together one of the most prolific scoring stretches in team history in his previous stint with the team, rejoined the Checkers on Tuesday.
