The third period was the difference once again in Charlotte’s rematch with Hershey, with the Checkers dropping a 4-2 contest Saturday night in front of a packed house.
The Checkers roared out to a hot start Friday night but ran out of steam in the third, as Hershey racked up four unanswered goals to beat Charlotte 4-3 in overtime.
